Actor. Director. Collaborator.
A Houston, Texas native, Taylor Fono discovered her love of the arts at a young age. It all started with a cardboard box, her two sisters, and some very encouraging parents, when Taylor and her sisters put on their first play at age 3, 6, and 7. Taylor's mother popped popcorn for the neighbors, the three sisters made an elaborate finger painted cardboard set, and the original play was produced free of charge to the public of the cul-de-sac.
Soon enough, Taylor would continue her love of all things silly and creative, and pursue her B.F.A. in Drama, with an acting emphasis at the University of Oklahoma Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama. It is at this institution that she would grow as a performer, discover her passion for directing, and begin to try her hand at playwriting.
An Actor's Equity Membership Candidate, Taylor has been a director, teaching artist, voiceover artist, and actor on stage and screen throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts. For a more in depth look into her professional work, please visit the Resume tab.
